Many new items are not offered in trade. This auction system is used to control inflation of credits. However, for some of those elite items, there is an option to bid using credits. Some types of equipment and ammunition can be purchased using credits, however the most valuable or "elite" items can only be bought with uridium. Uridium, common abbreviated "Uri", is more valuable and harder to obtain. Rank Points do not show up in the hall of fame.ĭarkOrbit uses two types of currencies: credits and uridium. There are also factors that will reduce your rank points such as times destroyed, own company kills, radiation zone destructions, and phoenix (starter) ships destroyed. Rank points are also based on a mathematical formula that is figured by a variety of factors, such as experience, level, honor, quests finished, Ships Points destroyed, Alien Points destroyed, and your ship type. Top user points show up in the hall of fame. This is a formula that will divide your Experience by 100,000 and Honor by 100, which will equal your top user points. The object of the game is to gain wealth and power both individually and for the company. It will close the Quest screen.At the start of the game, the player chooses between three companies: Venus Resources Unlimited (VRU), Earth Industries Corporation (EIC), and Mars Mining Operations (MMO).(In the story have one more companies,Saturn Autonomous Technology) Players are teleported to the home map to begin quests from Mission Control. Clicking this will prompt the following screen: Clicking this will update the information on your progress within the Quest. You will now find an option to cancel in the bottom right corner of the screen: Should you desire to cancel the Quest, reopen the above screen. You can have a maximum of three quests active at one time. Once you have found a Quest you would like to accept, simply click this button: Note: Not all available Quests can be seen in this window, some you will need to go and speak to Quest Givers to accept. Those highlighted are ones which you meet the requirements for and can attempt, those which are not highlighted you shall need to fulfil the requirements first. On the left side you shall see some potentially available quests. The Quest Icon is located on the Seachart at the top of the screen, that appears like the following image:Ĭlicking this icon will open up the Quest Menu, allowing you to view potentially available quests, active quests and the details and progress of your quests.
